The good Christian in the secular world

- We are a house church movement. Homes NOT churches.
- We do not own property as a church. Personal property ok.
- We do not accept tax exemption schemes. Period.
- We pay taxes like any citizen, if taxes are required.
- We do not register with the civil authority.
- We do not use any form of government issued I.D. cards.
- We do not usually contest criminal charges laid by the State.
- We do not, if convicted, accept parole. 
- We do not, as a rule vote. 
- We do not hold elective office.
- We do not serve in the military or in law enforcement.
- We have provided free educational tuition for 900 years.
- We provide complete grants and scholarships for university. 
- We have provided free health care for 900 years.
- We provide the ancient right of Sanctuary for 40 days.
- We take no oaths. We say "yes" or no" or decline an answer.
 



The good Christian in the home
      under renewal

- We do not generally own telephones or automobiles.
- We, like the Amish,  generally have no electricity in the home.
- We have an average three children per family (adherents).



The good Christian in practice
 

- We recognized all baptized members as ministers of religion.
- We have no paid clergy. Limited donations accepted.
- We take no collections at service. (Except in emergencies)
- We do not take tithes.
- We have  the strictest donation limits of any church.
- We charge for no course, seminar. Knowledge is free.
- We do not charge for any religious service performed.
- We do not charge for any ministerial services performed.
- We provide  financial support to indigent baptized members.
- We practice weekly Lord's Supper only.
- We baptize adults only, not children.
- We do not hold marriage ceremonies.
- We accept some "non canonical" scriptures  for spiritual edification.
- We are a completely nonresistant, pacifistic peace church.
- We allow all baptized members an equal say in policy.
- We  decide by connects.



The good Christian in general

- We are not pro technology. We are not Luddittes either.
- We are largely vegetarians or vegans. 
- We record an average per annum income of $9,000.00
- We provide an annual income of $3,600 for the moderator.

- We record    98% abstention from tobacco. (est.)
- We record    95% abstention from alcohol. (est.)
- We record    85% without  physical telephones,
- We record    42% have Internet connections
- We record    30% charitable giving of total income
 
 
 

That fully one third of baptized Cathars come from previous life experiences as law enforcement/security/intelligence officers  and  current or former inmates.

85% of Cathars do not own physical telephones,  but 42% have Internet connections.
