Beware of practicing your piety
before others in order to be
seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in
heaven. So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before
you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets,
so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they
have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let
your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your
alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret
will reward you.
-
Matthew
6:1-4
Malicious talk, therefore, is a
serious and troublesome
matter, for it is the sustenance and recreation of some people.
You should not, however, accept empty hearsay, lest you become a
receptacle for other people’s evils. Keep your own soul
unlettered. For, by accepting the foul-smelling garbage of
words, you will introduce stains to your prayer through your
thoughts, and without cause you will hate your associates.

11 Nov 07 Remember 11am 5 Minutes of Silence for fallen in combat We continue for the second year in a row to part from an 11 year custom of closing the website for one hour on the 11 November with the main page black save for a red poppy and single candle. The site will remain the same. Instead of the two minutes of silence, good Christians are asked to mark a minimum of 5 minutes in silent reflection.

Quebec RCC Cardinal issues mea culpa
Faced with an ever
growing community of good Christians in Quebec, the leader of the
Vaticanist church Marc
Cardinal Ouellet, archbishop of Quebec and primate of Canada, has issued a
wide-ranging apology for past wrongs committed by members of his church.
Open letter,
printed in Montreal French-language newspapers
Quellet
asks for forgiveness for antisemitism, racism, mistreatment of
aboriginal peoples, and discrimination against women and homosexuals.
It goes on to acknowledge that
children's lives were ruined after they fell victim to sexual abuse by
members of the clergy. Such scandals have destroyed the public's
confidence in religious authorities, it says.
The AGC has seen increasing
support for its efforts to strip the RCC of its tax-exempt status based
on their refusal to contribute meaningfully to Quebec society and a
stubborn rejection for its harmful and illegal acts. Ouellet said the Catholic Church
will make public acts of repentance during Lent. Quebec elders
say they will hold him to that promise.

We continue to experience some
technical problems on email communications related to the migration to
